My solar camping kit

160 watt folding solar panels

Above: an electrical controlling unit under the panel that keeps power flow to the battery at safe and appropriate levels.

Above: A close-up view of the electrical controller.

A 12 volt AGM deep cycle battery in a battery box with power outlets.

Battery box shown above, with inverter, to the left, which converts 12 volt DC output, via cigarette lighter outer, into 240 volt AC. The box also has 2x2 USB outlets to recharge small items that use this method.

I have found that this set up has provided more that enough power to charge laptop, tablet, camera battery, etc. to enable me to use these things to my heart's content.  In fact, it has me considering adding a small cooler unit somewhere down the line!
